The hydrophone system Type 3 consists of one cable and 24 active hydrophones moulded to the cables side. Power supply of the hydrophone unit is at the surface. Signals are pre-amplified by 20 dB. Standard cable length is 100 m with a hydrophone spacing of 1m (other on request). Any number of hydrophones (up to 48) can be chosen.
